Fall is Car Prep Season

Cooler Temps

Say good bye to the warm temperatures of 2016 and say hello to the cooler temperatures. We have seemed to skip the fall temperatures and jumped into winter temperatures. Over the next few months,  we’ll be experiencing  cooler temperatures with freezing rain and snow.

At iShine For You Auto Detailing, we’ve seen the impacts the cooler temperatures has had on cars. Cars have been arriving at our shop with little to no protection at all. Many have arrived with paint over spray, tree sap and bird droppings. When the temperature gets cooler, it makes it difficult to remove. We specialize in removing the various elements from the paint by detailing the car with a  wash, clay bar, and wax.  At customers request, we provide a year long coating that bonds with the paint of the car.

What is a Protective Coating?

The auto detailing industry has grown over the years. The simple wash and wax is becoming instinct, which only protects your vehicle for 2-3 months.  Advances in auto detailing has led to protective coatings. iShine For You uses the 22ple protective coating that last for a year. They are known for their innovative high silica-content glass coatings that can be applied to your paint, metal, wheels, and plastic trim pieces. With these coatings offering just the right combination of gloss and durability, 22ple has its sights set on becoming the innovative leader in car protection! See the Blue Mustang we applied the 22ple coating  here.
